Last Exile to be on TechTV?
Another quality title in mid-release hits cable:
Anime Corner Store:
"Last Exile on Anime Unleashed! - Tech TV has informed us that Geneon's Last Exile will be airing on Anime Unleashed starting the first week of March. Anime Unleashed will be on every weekday at 1am EST."
Repeat of FLCL? Sending the DVDs into major success only because people see it on TV?
Regardless, it's on very late, and is already somewhat successful. Being Pioneer/Geneon's premiere title at the moment.
What difference will this make considering 'Anime Unleashed' isn't really popular?

Almost done
Site's almost done. Contact/Info section is finished, as is the Music section. The hardest parts are yet to come though; I need to find a way to database articles and reviews, sort photos and wallpapers, and just hard work for the links page (but that would be a work in progress).

Music Crackdown
"NEW YORK (AP) - The recording industry's legal onslaught against Internet song-swappers appears to be having its desired effect. The percentage of Americans who download music online has been sliced in half, according to a report released Sunday..."
Indeed, it may well be, but the question is are they buying more CDs? If the RIAA had seen an increase in CD sales since online music downloading became so prevalent would they have taken such drastic measures?
Surely the sueing of so many obviously harmless people isn't going to make people run to the stores to give them more money. In fact I'd go out of my way to buy import CDs and avoid the RIAA altogether.
Anyway, it could just be due to the (temporary) closing of mp3.com.

Happy New Year
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
2003 has finally come and gone and it won't be missed.
January 1st always holds such mystery for the coming year; Why? How is one month different from the last? What seperates 2003 from 2004? The sun is still moving at the same pace. We could have just as easily made the summer solstice the time of calendar change.
Yet it does, so why fight it?
